Resonate.

Tonight I attended Resonate for the first time. It was an indescribable encounter with God. Tonight was all about worship. I heard a ton of new songs that I have never heard before and they are amazing! One song really stood out to me. The chorus of the song is...

‎"We are Your burning ones. We are consumed by You. We set our lives apart. We are consumed by You. So let this love be like a fire. Let our life be like a flame. Fill our souls with Your desire. Let our passion bring You fame."

I want these lyrics to be my prayer to God daily. "I am Your burning one. I am consumed by You. I set my life apart. I am consumed by You. So let my love be like a fire. Let my life be like a flame. Fill my soul with Your desire. Let my passion bring you fame." I want to be able to say that I am living this out. I have a lot of work to do but I cannot wait to see all of the wonderful things God is going to continue to do in my life.

I also met a lot of really awesome people tonight. I do not remember their names, because of my lack of memory, but they were awesome! I got to talk with Chris Armfield for a good amount of time. I got to tell him about what I am passionate about and he got to share with me about his passions and trips that he has been on and going on. Chris was an awesome guy and God is using him in mighty ways!

There is an awaken retreat January 7-9, 2011 in Greenville, SC with Resonate and I cannot wait to attend! If anyone is interested please ask me about it and I will try and help. Tickets are on sale on the website below :)
